As a native Nevadan and Las Vegas resident and activist since 1981, I have been proud of Nevada’s history of leadership going back to 1931 with legalized gaming, liberating adult relationships and generating green energy (Hoover Dam).
This midterm election season is crucial in guaranteeing that America stays great, in the traditions cherished by Nevadans who love the land, freedom of speech and freedom of association and identity.
It is essential that every effort be made to convince Sen. Dean Heller to uphold Nevada traditions, desires and needs. Any new justice on the Supreme Court must be fair and balanced. A Nevadan’s right to choose must be maintained. Families must be kept together, and efficient and creative solutions must be found for immigrants and Dreamers.
