Ho-hum, another month, another high school slaughter. We know you will send your thoughts and prayers to the parents of the deceased, but for some reason, that doesn’t stop the bullets that are killing our sons, daughters and grandchildren.
For some people, the National Rifle Association seems to be more important than children.
No one wants to take your guns away, but there have to be common sense measures to stop these horrors. More children have been killed in this country this year than all of our men in service fighting for our freedoms.
No other civilized country on earth has its children slaughtered on a weekly or monthly basis. We don’t need your thoughts and prayers from lawmakers, we need action or we need to replace them in November.
