We now live in a country where lies, misquotes and alternative facts have become the norm.It is hard to read, watch and listen to almost every news outlet. Too many, on both sides, are deaf to what the other side claims.
We have lost what was offered in the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights. Anger, hate, mistrust and too much failure to communicate and compromise has poisoned the minds of many people. Where has civility gone?
There is so much distrust of anyone who has a different opinion that we have split into two countries. Our youngsters are growing up in the era of “my way or the highway.” Will we have a sit-down and talk, or will vitriol win?
