Who calls a phone call “perfect?” A call can be interesting, long, complicated or any number of things, but to call it perfect is just strange. I have often wondered why President Donald Trump described his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy as “perfect.”
I now understand. Trump had previous knowledge of the whistleblower, so he knew the media would soon know. He was trying to get out in front of the story.
But no one has ever thought it was perfect, not even his supporters. His attempt to frame the call as “perfect” from Day 1 tells the story of a guilty mind.
