As a former Nevadan, I am disappointed to see “Fight the Trump administration” included in the to-do list for Nevada published in your Jan. 1 editorial, “With leaders in Nevada willing and eager to get to work, this year can be a great one.”
Why do you think obstructionism is the correct path? It seems the Sun is just pandering to ultra-liberals, not the average Nevadan. Plus, proposing to adopt California’s approach furthers the argument that Nevada is now “California lite.”
Why not add “Work with Congress and the Trump administration to ensure the needs of Nevada and Nevadans are met” to your list? Taking a positive approach is more likely to reap the desired results.
