House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is playing a coy game, and she is playing it well. She keeps telling the American people that she doesn’t want to impeach President Donald Trump, but he keeps doing things to force her hand.
Pelosi says that the Democrats are making an honest effort to pass legislation to help Americans, but the president won’t work with her. She says the Democrats are trying to run government, but the president keeps obstructing and is leaving Democrats no choice but to impeach him.
If Americans keep hearing of Trump’s lack of ability to get anything done, Pelosi may make impeachment more approachable. It will become a household term. It will become a household conversation. As it should be.
