GOP intimidated by the president

It’s difficult to understand why GOP members of Congress have so much fear from such an unstable person as President Donald Trump. America has been deflated and, should they continue to enable Trump, is on the way to becoming a banana republic.

Why, after all the evidence has been presented to the public, do Republicans continue to be worried about retaliation from Trump? If they get rid of him, they’ll still have a Republican president.

If they vote against Trump, they fear for their re-election regardless of whether their actions are consistent with their oath of office. But as the damning evidence continues and they refrain from breaking with him, they risk sinking with him.
