President puts himself first

It has been well established that President Donald Trump’s No. 1 concern is Donald Trump. Since the election, which Joe Biden clearly won, Trump has firmly established that concern.

A refusal to put the country first and help fight COVID-19, protect our country’s national security and do what is necessary to have a smooth transition is further proof.

If Trump’s reaction — and the possible consequences of his reaction for our country — doesn’t convince his followers that he cares more about himself than about our country, or that in his mind it’s Trump first, country second, then there is nothing more to say about them.

Sadly, the Republican Party puts Trump over the country as well.
