Credit Obama for good economy

The president keeps claiming he produced a great economy before the pandemic hit. But the Obama-Biden administration inherited a failing economy. Through a stimulus and careful work on their part, former President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden turned around the economy and set it on a steady upward trajectory.

Then, Sen. Mitch McConnell blocked a second stimulus package needed to make the recovery great. In spite of his best efforts to hold down anything good happening during a Democratic administration, though, the economy and job growth continued upward.

Then, President Donald Trump was elected, and he set about taking credit for the rising economy. Historical records show over years that the economy does better under Democratic management. All Republicans do is give tax breaks to other Republicans.
