Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., should be applauded for voting to pass the landmark Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.
This sweeping legislation will create new clean energy jobs in Nevada, make renewable energy more affordable, reduce emissions, and invest in domestic energy production and manufacturing to help fight climate change.
Cortez Masto has long been a champion of clean energy and was successful at including her legislation to continue the federal tax incentives that help Nevada families install solar energy.
As one of 7,000 solar workers in Nevada, I thank her for standing up for us and representing Nevada so well.
