By definition, laws are for law-abiding citizens. The law that makes murder illegal covers any murder with any weapons. Since that law doesn’t prevent murders from happening, no gun control law will work better and protect people better. There is no law that could have prevented any of the recent mass shootings. The mentally ill or outlaws do not care about laws. They get guns by all means and use guns as they wish.
All the proposals about gun ownership or safety are about gun controls, which infringe on law-abiding citizens’ Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. All gun control laws will eventually result in nobody owning any gun except the government. Any such law will be struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court.
