Metro Police say they are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in the west valley.
The incident was reported about 11:55 a.m. today in the 6500 block of West Charleston Boulevard, between Torrey Pines Drive and Rainbow Boulevard, police said.
Officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to University Medical Center in unknown condition, police said.
A suspect was not located, and the shooting was under investigation, police said.
