There is a type of greed that I do not understand. When Jared Kushner was asked if he and his group were prioritizing the allocation of personal protective equipment to red states, he said it is “ours,” not theirs. What?
When former President Donald Trump was told that top-secret documents belonged to the National Archives, he replied that they are mine, not theirs. I guess the real question is, would Trump endanger our country and your life if he thought it would benefit him?
This is not some fictional person on 5th Avenue. This is you. He stole top-secret documents. Yes, stole. When you take something illegally, it is stealing.
When he was president, he signed a bill increasing penalties for the mishandling of government documents.
