It’s about time the Democrats start fighting back after years of taking more arrows than General Custer. President Joe Biden even went on primetime to remind Americans that nothing less than our democracy is at stake.
It’s not fake news or a liberal witch hunt, and it’s no hoax that those top-secret documents at Mar-a-Lago were just a peek into the corrupt existence of the most corruptible president in this country’s history.
And yet Donald Trump and his cadre of supporters continue to spread the ugly rumor that their leader is (and always has been) blameless. Worse yet, they’ve turned on the FBI, police and a judicial system that’s kept this nation safe since its inception.
Whether the Democrats win or lose the upcoming midterms and even the 2024 election, I expect nothing less than a pitched battle for the hearts and minds of millions of voters who’ve grown weary of the senseless rhetoric of a soulless demagogue.
It’s so reassuring to see that the anti-Trump legions have finally gotten around to voicing their true feelings.
