America decided that being “woke” was a bad thing around the same time we decided that being anti-fascist was a bad thing. Personally, I don’t understand why “antifa” is such a trigger word. After all, if you are against the anti-fascists, doesn’t that mean you are pro-fascist?
The pro-fascists must be great supporters of Benito Mussolini. He made the trains run on time, after all — especially the ones headed toward the concentration camps.
That is the direction the right wing wants the country to go: camps for immigrants who hope to become citizens, camps for those who help women in red states get abortions or abortion pills, and camps for people who support gun control. At least the people in the camps might be safe from the mass shooters who kill people for fun in shopping malls and schools.
