Why would Disney even consider moving here? Just like Florida, our state is run by a conservative Republican.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had no problems with Disney until his presidential ambitions sent him down the right-wing rabbit hole, and he decided the publicity he would get from an attack on a huge company would be worth any economic damage his state might incur.
Who says our governor would not launch a strike against a liberal corporation if he had the chance? He is a former police officer who thinks keeping guns in the hands of any criminal who desires one is a fine idea. If Disney decides to do business in another state, it should not be one in the hands of a narrow-minded Puritan. That rules out Nevada.
