Donald Trump’s campaign agenda appears to be focusing more and more on ways to grab money and power from Republicans and anyone else who believes and trusts in him, and to ensure that he gets a pardon for any possible convictions he faces.
The money, power and pardon are necessary to keep him afloat financially and to avoid incarceration.
If Trump is unable to win another term in office to try to pardon himself, he appears to have convinced some of the other Republican presidential candidates to give him one, should one of them win.
Recognizing Trump’s likely course of action — based on his past actions and the likelihood that some of the other GOP candidate would pardon him — our votes should not be cast for any Republican.
Vote for the candidate, in the 2024 election, who has shown a real commitment to protect and strengthen our democracy for the benefit of all Americans.
