Hockey fans gather at Toshiba Plaza to celebrate the Golden Knights during a victory rally on Saturday June 17, 2023. The Golden Knights defeated the Florida Panthers at T-Mobile Arena Tuesday to win the Stanley Cup.

The Golden Knights' subscription-based streaming service, which will launch Sunday, will offer a free trial for cord-cutters looking to watch games this season.

KnightTime+ will be available prior to the Golden Knights' first preseason game against the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center on Sunday (5 p.m.). Fans can access a free trial starting with Sunday's game and access the content throughout the preseason.

The app can be found on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, and Roku. Other outlets, the team says, are being actively pursued.

“The creation of KnightTime+ is a significant advancement for our organization and, most importantly, our incredible fanbase that can’t get enough of the Golden Knights,” team president and CEO Kerry Bubolz said in a statement. “Thanks to our collaboration with Scripps Sports and ViewLift, KnightTime+ ensures that the Golden Knights are now more accessible than ever before. KnightTime+ is the answer for all fans in our territory interested in streaming live and on-demand coverage of the Vegas Golden Knights.”

KnightTime+ is the creation of the Golden Knights' partnership with ViewLift to stream the team's preseason games, 69 regular season games, and the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

A season pass costs $69.99, while single-game viewing is $6.99. The direct-to-consumer option will be available to fans in Northern and Southern Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.

The partnership with ViewLift is in conjunction with the Golden Knights' new TV deal with Scripps Sports following six years with Warner Bros. Discovery. Vegas 34, the new TV home for the Golden Knights, can be found over the air on channel 34.1.

Cable and satellite providers can find it on Cox channel 38, DirecTV channel 34 in the Nevada area, and DISH channel 32.

“The Stanley Cup champions and their fans deserve the best broadcast and streaming deal in the NHL,” said Brian Lawlor, president of Scripps Sports in a statement. “We know how important it is to the Golden Knights to make available all Scripps Sports-produced games to their fans on every device and video platform.”
