Nevada senators show compassion

Thanks to Nevada Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen for voting in favor of lifting 400,000 children out of poverty and helping 16 million more have better lives, including 163,000 in Nevada.

Why anyone would vote against a bipartisan bill that passed by an overwhelming majority of both parties in the House is a puzzle, since everyone agrees that families are important and children are our future.

Yet this bill didn’t pass. So take a minute to thank Nevada’s compassionate senators and encourage them to keep up the pressure to pass the bipartisan child tax credit expansion, which is life-changing legislation.
