Donald Trump is catering to evangelicals. This is the same man who, in order to show his knowledge of the Bible, quoted a verse from “Two Corinthians.” As a child, when I was in Sunday School, we learned it as Second Corinthians.
Now he praises the Evangelicals, primarily because of the Ten Commandments. He highlighted the Eighth Commandment, “Thou shall not steal.”
What he failed to recognize in his praise was that he has violated the First, Second, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Commandments. Those who know him are not surprised by his irrepressible narcissism and lack of knowledge.
