America’s choice influences world

It is a disease that can and has brought down many governments throughout world history. Right now, it’s infected the United States’ Supreme Court, Senate and Congress.

The American people, the real silent majority, are getting disillusioned with their politicians at every level of government. Too many elected representatives have given into the hypocrisy. Too many have been infected by liars disease.

The people have lost faith in their democratic system of government and the people elected to make the system work. Instead, what the average American sees in Washington, D.C., is out of control — personal greed and corporate greed in the extreme. All of this is a fertile environment for the growth of dictatorships.

This election could be the death of American democracy. And if democracy dies in America, it dies all over the world.

I could go on and on about the seriousness of this situation, but it will all come to a head in November.

I hope and pray Americans will make the right choice.
