Thank you for the May 24 letter “Following rules isn’t that hard,” which refers to “leaders” at the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District accepting Super Bowl tickets (valued at approximately $5,000 each) for their own personal use. Outrageous!
According to an internet search, each of the employees makes well over $200,000 per year.
I guess it never occurred to them to turn the tickets over to their employer or to ask if deserving young library patrons with financial need may have enjoyed attending a Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
