Silver lining in cemetery fiasco

The Trump campaign video at Arlington National Cemetery has one positive effect: The previous report of his calling fallen soldiers “suckers” and “losers” was based on only a few witnesses, primarily Gen. John Kelly. I believe Kelly, but there was some possible argument from people who would rather believe Donald Trump.

This incident was a public event, and NPR published the names of staffers involved in the altercation, which Trump denies. If NPR couldn’t prove it, it would be subject to a libel suit. We now know whom to believe without a doubt.
