Kamala Harris sounds like a president

Vice President Kamala Harris did an incredible job in the debate with former President Donald Trump and showed how intelligent and presidential she is in comparison to her opponent.

Harris showed a full grasp and understanding on all issues while Trump showed his advanced age and outright refusal to provide full and truthful responses. In fact, some of his responses were simply weird, like illegal immigrants eating Americans’ dogs and boasting about his good relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy even though Trump attempted to extort favors from Zelenskyy in return for U.S. aid to Ukraine.

Maybe Trump’s greatest omission to an answer was when he was asked why he killed a bipartisan bill making illegal immigration at our southern border more difficult. He refused to answer even though he lobbied congressional Republicans to kill that legislation, and even though throughout the debate he vilified President Joe Biden and Harris for doing nothing to prevent the illegal immigration.

What is being president like? At an absolute minimum, being president like is public service that recognizes and serves the greater good and best interests of the American citizenry. It is not serving one’s own interest to get elected president again in order to pardon oneself from pending criminal charges.
